Just Perfect !
I did the yoga and nourish retreat and it was just perfect, relaxing and restorative. Shaini is a great teacher with a lot of knowledge and a very warm personality, making your stay unforgettable.
The house, the food and the treatments were fantastic too.
If you want to improve your yoga and have a relaxing time surrounded by great nature and great people, this is exactly what you should do.

Absolutely wonderful!
This was my second time on retreat with Shaini. Again it was absolutely wonderful and I left 6 days later totally recharged and glowing. I did the surf+nourish+yoga package which was perfect for me.
Yoga and surfing complement eachother really well, in addition the massages (fantastic) and food (super delicious) just cap off a totally perfect retreat. We were 10 in total, all really nice people.
The setting is divine and off grid. Honestly this retreat cannot be faulted in any way.
I am already thinking of going back this Autumn.

Shaini is the organiser & Yoga teacher at Yogaion retreats.She is an introductory level 2 Iyengar yoga teacher & before that also certified herself in Hatha and Anusara Yoga.
Location
All the retreats will be held in an amazing house amidst nature on the south west of Portugal right in the middle of the Costa Vicentina natural park. Only a few kilometres away from two amazing wild beaches and the rota vicentina hiking track passes right in front of the house.
There will be twice daily Iyengar yoga classes, aligning the body, mind & being. We start the morning with a more invigorating class, working through alignment principles connecting the intelligence of the brain with the space of the heart. During the day there will be either an amazing mindfulness session, a wonderful massage or a cooking workshop .
During the retreats the groups will be kept small no more than 8-10 yogis, so that everyone get’s the personal attention they need and the ambience can become one of friends.

The retreat house is recently, lovingly renovated with 5 ensuite bedrooms either with stunning views of the gardens or the natural park. All the rooms have big door windows so that nature can be enjoyed to its fullest. The house is refurbished with a barefoot luxury & in line with Yogaion's sustainable ethics, the house get's all its warm water by solar power and heating comes from an amazing masonry stove heating up the whole place if needed.
There is a swimming pool overlooking a beautiful valley of trees & bushes and in the valley there is an organic garden. All the rooms have a mezzanine with an extra bed and two beds in the bottom, they also have their own private, ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet.
Come and ignite your taste buds during our retreats with all the delicious plant based meals. All prepared with fresh, local, mostly organic ingredients & most important Love! Without any added processed sugars or other processed ingredients.
Our amazing Portuguese chefs Ana & Xana will be cooking all the delicious meals during the week, lovingly preparing all the food, creating mouthwatering delicious meals from breakfast to dinner & dessert.
If there are any other dietary allergies or intolerances please let us know before you book, as we will try to accommodate for them as good as we can.

Yogaion
Peace and tranquility in one of the best eco retreats Portugal has to offer, only 450 meters from the stunning beach of Meia Praia, surrounded by nature. Yogaion, located on the south coast of Portugal, throughout the year offers a lovely mix of different retreats.
Reservation Policy:Deposit is 50% of total value to secure place, paid within 1 week after confirmation of reservation. I will send you an email with all the booking details! Balance due 7 days before start of retreat. If reservation is made 7 days before start of retreat , total value is payable within 3 days .
Cancellation Policy:We will only issue a refund for cancelled places if a replacement can be found. We will do our best to find someone else to fill up your space in which case your full deposit minus any costs will be refunded to you! But this is not always possible, so it is highly recommended to take a travel insurance If there is someone else found for your place on the retreat then your full amount of deposit will be refunded minus any bank costs and/ or agency fees.
