Becky Khalil
Core Subject: Yoga Instructor
Becky Khalil is the Founder and Director of Shanti Atma Yoga. She is the lead trainer and loves working with both her students and her heartfelt teaching team. Free spirited is her nature at heart with passion and fearlessness to reach her goals, dreams and vision, and to help everyone she meets along the way to reach theirs. Becky believes that anything is possible and loves to watch people thrive in following the fire led by their hearts. Becky comes from a meditation background, however she takes solace in the practice of Yoga, Mindset, Aromatherapy and Meditation, all together when things get tough. Igniting self empowerment, authenticity and divine self through freedom, expression and self care is her vision for everyone she crosses paths with. She believes that becoming yourself is your truest, realest and most beautiful venture one can embark on. Her moto is to nourish your ambitions rather than feed your fears. She hopes to meet you somewhere in the world someday on your unique and quirky journey that is life.
Location
Bali has a special kind of magic that brings wonderful people together. In the space we create on this course we dive into the wonderland of this island magic and explore what it has to offer. From Kirtan and sound healing to massage and ecstatic dance, training in Yin Yoga in this part of the world will definitely open up doors to learn about the healing and powerful energy of yin, yoga, self love and radical freedom.
The course is split into two modules with a day in between to rest, digest, snooze and stretch. Both modules will take you through the functional and energetic approach to yoga, breaking them down individually and then layering them upon another to make your understanding of yin yoga and art of teaching brighter and bolder and better than the rest.

Each room is inspired by a character from the Mahabharata and Ramayana (two Sanskrit epics!) and decorated with antique Balinese and Javanese furniture, art, architectural pieces, and traditional textiles and prints. Many of the rooms are in antique Javanese joglo or gladak houses constructed of teak wood, and a stay at the Damayanti combines a reverence for history and the sacred land we live on with thoughtful, luxurious touches that modernize a traditional experience.
Delicious home cooked, vegetarian food will be served three times a day with the aim of nourishment and organic pleasure.

Underlying this intention is the view that every moment is an opportunity to practice.
